Patient:

70 year old male.

Case Background:

The patient had lost all upper and most of the lower teeth as a result of periodontal disease.

Procedure:

That patient decided to retain his full upper removable denture but as the lower remaining teeth had become loose he was experiencing discomfort with his lower removable denture. The remaining lower teeth were extracted and 5 dental implants were placed in the lower jaw and a bar attached to them. A lower removable denture was made to securely attach to the bar. A removable option was chosen to help with hygiene.
